What We do
Advanced Engineers Group provides multidisciplinary engineering and project support for industrial, commercial, and municipal clients. Our work includes mechanical systems, process piping, HVAC and refrigeration, energy efficiency, controls and automation, project management, and value engineering.
We support projects from early feasibility and concept development through design, construction support, commissioning, and closeout. Our goal is to deliver practical, reliable, and cost-effective solutions that meet technical, operational, and project requirements.
Our History
June 2015 — Company Launch
Advanced Engineers Group was established to provide engineering support for commercial, industrial, and retrofit projects.
August 2017 — First Food Industry Project
AEG completed engineering and project management support for a new food production facility in Trenton, Ontario, including production line design, procurement, construction coordination, and installation support.
April 2019 — Expanded Energy Services
AEG expanded its focus to energy management, renewable energy, product improvement, and technical support for manufacturing and production facilities.
October 2022 — Municipal Piping Stress Analysis
AEG completed piping stress analysis for a Toronto wastewater treatment project using CAESAR II. The work supported pipe routing, equipment loading, support design, and constructability improvements, contributing to significant construction cost savings.
2023–Present — Expansion in Municipal, Water & Wastewater Engineering
Advanced Engineers Group has continued to grow its municipal and industrial portfolio through engineering support for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, process piping systems, mechanical equipment, HVAC upgrades, and related infrastructure projects across Toronto and the GTA. Our work has included piping stress analysis, mechanical design, equipment integration, construction support, troubleshooting, and coordination with consultants, contractors, and municipal stakeholders.
2026 — Sustainability & Facility Modernization
AEG expanded its work in sustainability, energy efficiency, ventilation, and facility modernization, supporting municipal and industrial clients with practical upgrades designed to improve system performance, reliability, and long-term operating efficiency.

Dave Daneshi, M.Sc., P.Eng.
Lead Mechanical Engineer
Dave is a mechanical engineer with more than 20 years of consulting experience in HVAC, process equipment, building automation, plumbing, fire protection, and specialized facility systems. As a founder of Advanced Engineers Group, he leads mechanical engineering activities, supports technical standards and project delivery, and helps guide the company’s engineering strategy and growth.
Tina Khanloo, M.Sc., CQA
Project Manager
Tina is a chemical engineer and quality professional with experience across food, pharmaceutical, and industrial environments. She supports project coordination, technical documentation, quality and compliance requirements, process improvement, and cross-functional execution. Her background in regulated manufacturing, laboratory operations, and continuous improvement helps bridge engineering requirements with practical operational needs.
Hari Patel, P.Eng.
Lead Electrical Engineer
Hari is an electrical engineer with more than 30 years of experience in design, installation, commissioning, controls, automation, and power systems across industrial and building projects. His background also includes renewable energy, solar systems, and power generation. At Advanced Engineers Group, he leads electrical, controls, and instrumentation activities and supports multidisciplinary project delivery and technical development.

Piping Stress Analysis- Municipal Plants
Advanced Engineers Group provides piping stress analysis and mechanical engineering support for municipal and industrial facilities across Toronto and the GTA. Our work includes systems carrying air, steam, chemicals, sludge, slurry, refrigerants, and hydronic fluids in wastewater treatment plants, water treatment facilities, pumping stations, and power-related infrastructure.
Using pipe stress modeling and engineering analysis, we help optimize piping layouts, supports, fittings, and equipment loads to improve reliability, constructability, and performance under operating conditions.
Rainwater Harvesting Project at Sheraton Gateway
Advanced Engineers Group supported the implementation of a rainwater harvesting system at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel near Pearson Airport. The project was designed to improve cooling tower performance, reduce freshwater consumption, and support more efficient water use.
The system also created opportunities for future integration with other building systems to improve overall resource efficiency and sustainability.
Corporate Sustainability at Univar Lab
Advanced Engineers Group supported a corporate sustainability initiative at Univar Lab focused on energy conservation and improved facility efficiency. The work included evaluation of energy-saving opportunities and practical measures intended to reduce energy consumption, operating costs, and environmental impact.
The project reflects AEG’s broader commitment to helping industrial and laboratory facilities improve energy performance through practical engineering solutions.
Industrial HVAC and Refrigeration
Advanced Engineers Group provides HVAC and refrigeration engineering support for industrial, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, laboratory, and commercial facilities. Our work focuses on temperature and humidity control, ventilation, indoor air quality, system reliability, and energy-efficient operation.
For food and regulated manufacturing environments, we support system design and upgrades with consideration for applicable CFIA and FDA requirements, as well as ventilation and indoor air quality criteria such as ASHRAE 62.1 for IAQ (Indoor Air Quality). We also consider client-specific requirements for controlled temperature, humidity, hygiene, and process conditions.
Our services include assessment of existing systems, retrofit planning, equipment selection, ventilation and refrigeration upgrades, and recommendations to improve compliance, reliability, energy performance, and maintainability while minimizing disruption to ongoing operations.
Diesel and gas generators
Advanced Engineers Group provides engineering support for emergency and standby generator systems serving commercial, industrial, institutional, and critical facilities. These systems support life safety, operational continuity, and emergency power requirements during utility outages and peak-demand conditions.
Our work includes generator system design, equipment selection, generator room requirements, ventilation, fuel storage and delivery systems, exhaust routing, permitting support, construction coordination, and commissioning. We also support retrofit projects involving existing emergency power systems and fire-pump-related applications.
Process cooling and chillers
Advanced Engineers Group provides engineering support for process cooling systems used across food, dairy, beverage, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, automotive, and other industrial applications. Our work includes chillers, cooling towers, buffer tanks, pumps, heat exchangers, and associated piping systems.
We support system design, equipment selection, capacity planning, layout development, controls integration, and construction support. Our approach considers capital cost, production reliability, operating cost, maintainability, energy efficiency, and integration with existing plant systems.
AEG can support projects from concept and design through construction, commissioning, and operational handover.
